In these times of hunger, genocide, illegitimate wars, occupations, empire-building, and government failings, it is easy to appeal to our innate love for the complex to be reduced to its simplest denominator. Unfortunately, as bids are made for "take-overs," hate-mongering and the lying it entails reigns as news, information and truth. We have become a nation of people scared to death of difference.

We have allowed our most base instinct of survival in the face of the fear to manifest itself in all sorts of violence. This fear instilled by a few who can reach out to the many through radio and television has caused us to back away from our Constitution and some of our most prized values - freedoms to speak, associate with each other without fear, practice our religions, diversity and the rule of law. Those of us who value much of what has made The United States great over that which has caused us shame, must speak.

This website will take the opportunity to speak truth about issues on and in the American Muslim community.
